HEY GUYS!
I hope you're all doing well and feeling healthy. Remember that VERY soon your teachers will be using Google classroom for assignments. Please check there from now on.
You MUST sign in using your IS141 e-mail. Not your personal e-mail!
You can still use this blog for links and to find older assignments.
Don't forget, you can also e-mail with questions or to say hi! Hope to see you all soon :)
Happy Moment below-that's a comet!
READ A BOOK!
I've received a lot of requests from students and parents for book recommendations. I guess when you tell people you own somewhere in the range of 8-10,000 books, that's what happens!
Here are my fiction and non-fiction recommendations. I don't believe in censoring books, but I believe these are age-appropriate. That said, parents should check out these recommendations first and decide if they disagree.
Fiction-
Watership Down (Richard Adams)- Drama/fantasy.The first adult-level book I ever read (thanks to my school librarian!)
Howl's Moving Castle (Diana Wynne Jones)-Comedy/fantasy
I Capture the Castle (Dodie Smith)
